Ingredients for a Lavender Earl Grey Old Fashioned
2oz Bourbon
.5oz Lavender Infused Simple Syrup
1.5oz Cooled Earl Grey Tea
1-3 Lemon Bitters (dashes)
Glassware: Chilled Cocktail Glass
Prep: Start by brewing the tea. For a strong flavor, I added 2 tea bag to 1 cup of boiling water and let it brew infuse for 30 minutes. Add ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice and stir to chill.
Serve: Add large ice cube to a rocks glass and strain.
Garnish: Thin lemon wheel (fresh or dehydrated) and a sprig of fresh lavender.
