Since we are big fans of metal music, we decided to put two heavyweights against each other and see who comes out on top. metallica's Blackened Straight Whiskey against SlipKnot's #9 Reserve. We first tried them neat. Then moved on to this Snake Byte cocktail. This round went to Metallica, hands down... and metal horns up!
This cocktail was fantastic! The Cointreau and Amaretto married so well and just made it delightful and refreshing! Seriously, this is a must for anyone! MAke it already!

| 1oz | Amaretto |
| 1oz | Cointreau |
| .25oz | Lemon Juice |
| Prep: Shake with Ice 10-30sec, pour over large cube | |
| Garnish: Lemon half wheel | |
The idea is pretty simple. As we taste and review various whiskies, we will be making a few cocktails along the way and even tweaking as we see fit to give them a new perspective.
