Savor the Burn:

Auchentoshan - 12yr Single Malt

Review & Tasting Notes

A sherry forward Lowland Scotch that got mixed reviews from the StB tasting panel. A tasty pour neat, a decent candidate for a simple minded cocktail. We liked it and we think you will too!

Auchentoshan 12 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Tasting Notes
Color Golden honey
Nose A Single Malt Scotch whisky with a distinctive aroma of crème brulee to the nose with a burst of citrus and then the signature nuttiness and green leafiness you would expect from Auchentoshan. Honey and sherry witl almond and apple on the nose
Palate A smooth whisky taste with sweet notes along with hints of tangerine and lime characterize this 12 year old. Tobacco and toffee show up with oak and more sherry
Finish This particular whisky offers a gingery and slightly dry finish with a pleasant, lingering nuttiness. The toffee lingers on with clove, vanilla custard and more crème brulee
